CONNECTING DOTS
The dot is the atom of our craft. It’s our smallest building block.
Lines are dots arranged along a string and digital images are made out of pixels. Resolution is measured in dots per inch. The variation in size and spacing of dots creates the illusion of smooth tone and colour in print. Dots are everywhere.
DOT is a humble name. But it also holds grand ambitions.
DOT stands for Design Over Time.
Our job is to translate business strategies into engaging visual communication and our goal in every project is to provide graphic design of lasting value.
You as a client obviously know much more about your business than we do. We find the research stages, where we get to meet new people, peek behind the scenes and learn new stuff, highly enjoyable. We are curious by nature and love to connect the dots and see where they lead us.
We’re passionate, probably even nerdy, about what we do and proud to be so. Because passion works for both us and our clients. It’s fun to strive for excellence, and good design is a sound investment. Hoping to attract consumer attention without tuning in emotionally when designing is futile. Visual communication that looks detached won’t be seen or read and calls to action not heard.
Having fun is serious business. So, – Deploy the nerds!

THE STORY OF DOT
In 2011 a seasoned art director and a world renowned illustrator teamed up with a young front-end developer. A studio named Problem Bob was born. It was the start of a tumbling journey where we went from app and web production to advertising, illustration and PR. We were all over the place!
A turning point came in 2016 when we did the brand identity for Downtown Camper by Scandic. Afterwards we realised what we had achieved with a workforce of only one or two. Other agencies allocate teams of up to ten to solve similar projects. We then knew what we were destined to do. In the spring of 2018 three partners became two and DOT was a fact.
