Decadence and mischief since 1859
Södra Teatern (South Theatre in English) has been an institution in Stockholm’s culture life for 160 years. Whether you’re up for live music from leading acts, a night of clubbing, the latest play, having dinner and drinks with friends or just a kick back over jazz brunch or Swedish fika — Södra Teatern delivers.
The old landmark overlooking the city was in need of a face lift and alongside extensive construction and renovation work being carried out during 2019 a new visual identity is also being implemented.
